lucky to be loved - and an AWESOME opportunity for us and YOU! Part I

Earlier this year, we started a small, yet significant relationship with a publication that I really really admire.  Not only because they are cool, but because the driving force behind the magazine is to see that EVERY child has a home.  They share great stories of children in foster care and in need of homes as well as those of families that have opened their hearts and their homes and have adopted children.  I actually think they kind of ROCK! Well what started as an unofficial "can you help us" kind of thing has blossomed into a great blessing, where I can now bless others.  So, without further adieu, I would like to introduce myself officially as the Party Planning Editor for Southern Child Magazine!

I have seen the MOST fabulous work from both professional and "just for fun" party planners alike. From the work at home mommies, to the budding photographers, I am constantly amazed by your creativity.  So, this is where you come in.  I CANNOT do this alone.  In no way am I aiming to plan parties and style shoots EVERY MONTH.  I don't have the time or I will be on the look out for one party to feature in each issue! If you know you have party you would like to contribute, you are encouraged to submit it!

I can be reached for Southern Child inquiries at talia {at} southernchildmagazine {dot} com

Our first call for submissions is for Easter for the April issue. Your party does not have to be exclusive or unpublished.  We like pretty children's party {styled or real}.  The only requirement is cute! The deadline for the April issue is  March 10.  :-)

Thanks so much!

PS: We styled our first shoot for the magazine for St. Patrick's Day.
