| racole + nicholas | real wedding - the addison, boca raton

happy day friends. I wanted to stop by and drop  off a few pics from Racole and Nick's gorgeous  December wedding.

words cannot  express what a blessing  it was to have these two as clients.  when Racole reached out to me, she had recently been proposed to, and had made initial plans to do most of the wedding planning herself. but she decided about a week in, that although she loved it and was more than capable of planning her nuptials;  that she would elicit some help. and am I glad she thought  of me.  racole  remembered me as the planner of her friend's 30th birthday  fête  in South Beach, Miami, three years earlier, and "googled" me.  the name had changed, but I am still theluxeplanner...so the rest is history!

serving these two was more than a blessing  and an honor. their wedding at the Addison in Boca  Raton, was absolutely perfect. from the pre-wedding reception to the delectable dining  at lunch...each and every detail was meticulously given attention.  their theme was "It's a Wonderful Life."  the story from how the theme was chosen, to the date of the wedding was amazing! but i will let Racole tell it another time! i adored the subtle nods to the movie and the beauty of it all.  one of my favorite details were the little bells that read "every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings."  this beautiful couple were such a pleasure to work with.  i wish them a lifetime of happiness and blessings!

here are a few snippets  of the day, captured by AJ Shorter Photography, who did an amazing job, cake by Creative Cake Factory, stationery by Talia Felicia Events + Design and floral by Tropical Elegance. I hope you enjoy!

trendy + traditional = | a real wedding |

Love is patient and kind and that couldn't be more true for our lovely June couple that wed near Panama City Beach, Florida. They were so kind in fact that the bride's only request was that she be married in the same church that her mommy had been over 30 years ago. When Brandon + LaNeise first came to us there were two things that were clear...he was trendy and she was traditional.    Earlier this year I shared with you their trendy marries traditional inspiration board, and I am so pleased to share a bit of their love story in pictures today.

One of my favorite parts of the wedding (besides seeing them get married) was their intimate shoot on the playground adjacent to their reception venue.  When I saw this playground, I told the photographer that this spot was a must...

This uber cute couple allowed Luxe. to be a part of their special day and we are so grateful.

Here are some pics from their lovely day...

Congratulations LaNeise + Brandon...we wish you many years of happiness!

Images courtesy of Carline Photography, who by the way was SO extremely wonderful to work with.  We were so honored that she took on this shoot in spite of the fact that she was moving to Jamaica with the Peace Corp only a few days later! She was such a gem.

Love what you do, and keep doing it because you love it!
